MC Commander and New Software Program – “Learning for Children – Exploration” to be Featured in Booth #1203

SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND (January 21, 2009) – AT KidSystems(TM), the manufacturer and distributor of children-related products, will present the latest enhancements to Cosmo’s Learning Systems(TM) during the 2009 Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) Conference and Exhibition on January 28-31 in Orlando, Florida.  Demonstrations of Cosmo’s Learning Systems, showcasing its innovative software utility, MC Commander as well as a new educational software program, Learning for Children – Exploration, will be conducted in Booth #1203 at the Caribe Royale Orlando All-Suites Hotel and Convention Center. 

During the 2009 ATIA Conference, AT KidSystems will highlight MC Commander, a software utility that enables Mission Control to map to any keyboard or mouse function, offering a new option in computer access devices.  Cosmo’s Learning Systems is comprised of Mission Control, a computer interface device, and Cosmo’s Play and Learn software.

Additionally, AT KidSystems plans to introduce a new software product – Learning for Children – Exploration.  The software content focuses on developmental goals such as: auditory discrimination, concept formation, simple logic and reasoning, and can also be used with Mission Control

AT KidSystems will also demonstrate how Cosmo’s Learning Systems has successfully increased communication, interaction and pre-academic skills in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  Cosmo’s Learning Systems will be a featured educational session focusing on the success of this interactive computer technology with children with ASD.  The educational session, “Providing Effective Computer Experiences for Students with ASD: Using Cosmo’s Learning Systems,” will be held on Saturday, January 31 from 9:15 – 10:15 A.M. in Room Curacao 7/8.

Cosmo’s Learning Systems engages children with developmental age of 2-to-8 years.  Children with and without disabilities use Mission Control to engage CosmoBot in exploring numerous activities featured in Cosmo’s Play and Learn software.  Mission Control is a versatile computer access device with four (4) aFFx(TM) activators and a built-in microphone.  Cosmo’s Play and Learn software provides entertaining content while supporting individual educational and rehabilitation goals with customization and data tracking.
