AnthroTronix to Exhibit in The Office of Naval Research Booth at AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems Conference and Expo

ONR Invited AnthroTronix to Exhibit R&D Technologies on August 10-13 SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND (August 12, 2009) – AnthroTronix, Inc., a human factors engineering and research and development company, has been invited by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to exhibit in the ONR Booth #659 during AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems North America 2009 on August 10-13. AnthroTronix will demonstrate their latest innovations in robotics and simulation technologies during the AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. “It is a great honor to present our technology in the ONR booth at AUVSI and have the opportunity to showcase some of our recent innovations designed to support and protect America’s Armed Forces,” said Jack Vice, Founder and President of AnthroTronix.  “We have been funded under ONR to enhance warfighter capability in the field through communications and observation skills.” AnthroTronix will demonstrate the following innovations in the ONR Booth #659 during the AUVSI Exhibition: The AcceleGlove – a gesture capture glove, controlling several technologies including a manipulator arm, VEX robot, JAUS-enabled UGV simulation, and BEAR robot simulation. The Mounted Force Controller – a controller mounted on an individual weapon to operate UGV’s. The Haptic Feedback Belt — a fieldable vibrotactic tactical belt that provides information from unmanned vehicles.
